So you have a will. Where do you store it? We recommend that YOU have your original will, NOT your estate planning attorney. Estate planning attorneys offices they close, they move, attorneys retire, and attorneys also get ill and/or pass away. In order to make sure you have your will, we recommend you have the original and you store it in a safe place at home. We usually recommend that you use a fireproof and a waterproof safe to keep your estate planning documents in. And that is where we recommend you keep your will.
